About Bill Irvine
Bill Irvine is the CEO and visionary behind Stremor Corp. No stranger to launching startups, Bill has been the driving force behind elevating a niche user-generated community from obscurity to six million monthly unique users and significant profit. Before that, he created successful full-service digital technology departments in two different mid-sized advertising agencies, and created a company that produced critically acclaimed multimedia titles or children and young adults.
During his ten years as a digital advertising leader, His clients included IBM, Citibank, TD Waterhouse, Toshiba, McDonalds, Sony, Nike, HSBC, and many others. Bill was also invited to speak at Yahoo and Google functions for the NYC advertising industry, and finalist for the annual award of Yahoo’s prestigious “Purple Chair” for excellence in online ad campaigns for his innovative work on TD Waterhouse.
His advertising technology work included architecting a robust content management system, ad targeting technology (later adopted by Yahoo), and real time analytics for optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.
Before going completely digital, Bill was also a published science fiction author (short stories), an award winning pen and ink artist, and published children's book author/illustrator.
In his spare time, he still dabbles in carpentry, digital photography, and art. But he mostly gladly spends his downtime with his wife, Julie, and their three pugs who are featured on PugsVille.com.
